Training Programs
How Grey Standard is Different?
Many big box and mass marketed training companies sell rigid lesson packages run on a timer. High trainer turnover is common, and while the company’s core principles may be sound, there are often major inconsistencies in trainer skill and experience. In the end, you’re gambling on hour long sessions that follow the same checklist for every dog. Real dogs and real life simply don’t work that way.
When I design a training program, I start with a clear understanding of what your dog’s challenges are likely to require. From there, I let the dog and the family set the pace. If we reach the standard in fewer sessions, that’s a win. If it takes more time, that’s okay too. The goal is not to complete a punch card, it’s to create meaningful, lasting change in your dog’s life and in your home.
My commitment is straightforward; as long as you are fully engaged and following the guidance, I stay in your corner. I continue adjusting and working the plan with you until the training is genuinely successful and shows up where it matters most everyday life.
One Week Residency and Lessons
“I start the change, you keep the standard.”
Some families prefer a shared training approach rather than a full two week drop-off. This option gives your dog a focused week living and training with me, followed by private lessons so you’re learning the system in real time and feel confident carrying the work forward at home.
During the residency week, your dog is immersed in calm structure, clear communication, and real world practice. Once your dog goes home, we schedule follow up lessons where I coach you through the exact system I used, so you know precisely how to maintain the work day to day.
Best fit if:
- You want to be very hands on in the training process
- You’re ready to follow structure consistently at home
- You want strong coaching with a lower investment than the full Signature Residency
- You learn best when working with your dog and trainer together in real time
Investment
Most dogs in this program are approximately $2,600, which includes the full one week residency and built in private lessons.
Grey Standard Signature Residency
“Where intuition and structure bring out your dogs best”
This is my premium program. It is for dogs that would benefit from a deeper reset and for families who want the highest level of polish with the least day to day involvement. Your dog lives with me for two weeks and is cared for as if they are my own. My work is a mix of structure and intuition. I pay attention to the small shifts in energy and body language so I can communicate in a way that makes deep sense to your dog. I build the plan around your dog and your goals and include the right training setup whether that is a slip lead long line prong collar e collar or a thoughtful combination. The goal is a true reset. Your dog leaves with a new way of thinking and you leave with a clear simple system to keep that standard at home.
